Highlands
Mountain framing, roofing, cedar siding, and deck construction on the Highlands plateau.
Highlands sits above four thousand feet, and the weather there writes the schedule. Framing and dry-in have to be sequenced tight, because a frame left open on the plateau will take on water in a way an Atlanta frame never does. We plan the lumber delivery and the sheathing around that, not around the calendar.
Mountain builds are steeper, taller, and more exposed. That means deeper footings on sloped lots, tall post-and-beam deck framing, steep-slope roof work with real fall protection, and cedar shingle or board-and-batten siding that suits the setting and holds up to the freeze-thaw cycle.
It's a drive from Tucker, so we work these jobs in stretches rather than day trips. That's built into the schedule you get in writing, and it's why the estimate visit and the plan review matter more here than anywhere else we work.
