A Carpentry Crew, Not a Sales Office
Bird Carpenter LLC is a Tucker-based framing and exterior contractor. We build the structure, dry it in, wrap it, and finish the outside, with the owner on the job and on the phone.
The frame is the promise. Everything else is finish.
Bird Carpenter LLC works out of Tucker, Georgia, and the work is exactly what the name says: carpentry. We frame houses and additions, we tear off and replace roofs, we hang siding over a weather barrier that actually sheds water, and we build decks, porches, and fences that hold up to being used.
Doing all six under one roof isn't a marketing line, it's how the work goes better. The crew that framed your addition knows how the roof has to tie in, where the flashing needs to land, and why the deck ledger has to be lagged into the band board rather than the siding. When those trades belong to different companies, that knowledge falls into the gap between them, and the gap is where leaks start.
Gualberto Hernandez owns the company, and the number on this site rings his phone. He comes out for the estimate, he's on the job while it's running, and he's the one you call afterward if something isn't right. That's the whole structure, and it's deliberate: a small crew that can be held to its word beats a big one that can't.
What we stand for
Six standards we hold ourselves to on every project — big or small.
Square and Plumb
We check the diagonals before we nail off. Everything after us depends on it.
Straight Answers
Honest repair-or-replace calls, even when replace is the smaller invoice.
Water Goes Out, Not In
Flashing, wrap, and slope detailed before anything decorative goes on top.
Dates We Can Keep
A start date and a finish date in writing, and a call if either one moves.
Respect for the Property
Material staged out of the way, debris hauled off, and a magnet sweep at the end.
Built to Be Inspected
The work should hold up when someone opens the wall in fifteen years.
A better service experience, by design
Generic promises are easy. We focus on the habits that actually make the difference.
Four steps from first call to final walkthrough

We Come Look
Free visit. We walk the project, get on the roof or open a section of wall if that's what it takes, and tell you what we actually find.
Written Estimate
Materials, labor, allowances, and a real start and finish date, itemized on paper. Free, and no pressure attached to it.
We Build It
Our crew works the schedule we agreed to. If something changes, you hear it from us before it becomes a line on the invoice.
Walk It Together
We go over the finished work with you, fix what's on your list, and sweep the site before the final invoice goes out.
