Atlanta

In-town Atlanta is a carpenter's city. Grant Park, Kirkwood, and Virginia-Highland are full of houses that were framed before anyone used a nail gun, and the work is rarely a straight swap. Sistered joists, balloon framing, and rafters cut on site are the normal starting point, not a surprise.

Most of what we do in town is exterior: re-siding a bungalow without losing its trim profile, rebuilding a rear deck that's pulling off a hundred-year-old band board, or replacing a roof over a low-slope addition that was never detailed right in the first place.

In-town lots are tight, and access is half the job. We stage material where it won't block your neighbor, protect what we're walking across, and haul off the debris rather than parking a dumpster on the street for three weeks.
